In the last blog, we discovered ways to nourish that are NOT food, but what if you are CRAVING and it can’t be satisfied?

Here’s a few ways to take care of it without feeling guilty:

Warm Almond or Coconut Milk

Cozy up with warm almond or coconut milk. Add a dash of stevia and vanilla for some extra sweetness. Fun fact: vanilla is known to boost mental heath and reduce inflammation. Enjoy a cup.. or two!

Maple Sweet Potato Pudding

Picture this: Your favorite bowl filled with Maple Sweet Potato Pudding. Did you know that sweet potatoes are chock-full of so many vitamins and minerals that you’re basically eating a mouthwatering multivitamin. There’s just 5 ingredients between you and satisfaction.

Homemade Nutella

If you know Nutella, you know how easy it is to indulge in its hazelnut deliciousness. What if you could make your own, sans the questionable ingredients and guilt. Try this Easy Homemade Nutella – (to go really healthy, swap the maple syrup with something like organic liquid stevia or monk fruit). Just add fruit, such as apple, banana, mango. Yum!

Homemade Hot Chocolate

Mmmm… do you smell that? It’s homemade hot chocolate with warm coconut milk, cacao, cinnamon, nutmeg, and stevia. This cleansing (cinnamon) de-stressor (coconut milk) is a surefire way to nourish the soul. But isn’t coconut milk full of fat? I’m so glad you asked. YES! And healthy fat is good for you. Things with fat or that are warm tend to be more nourishing. So, give it a stir and sip perfection.

Frozen Nana

Eat until you heart’s content—Frozen sliced, overripe banana. Those squishy nana’s are good for something. Full of beneficial nutrients, bananas offer-up powerful antioxidants and strengthen the nervous system. Chop’em up and put them in the freezer for those moments you’re craving something sweet and cool. And the textrure!! OMG the texture is amazing. You can also put a dollop of peanut or almond butter on it to make it nutty and even yummier.

ENJOY!

Nyk!
