Time To Shine: Make it Your Year to SHINE
Can you believe there are only 2 weeks left in 2014? While most of us are consumed with plans and preparation for Decking the Halls and bringing in the New Year, it is important to set aside personal time to take inventory of your inner and outer world, and to get clear in what it is you want to experience in the new year. 2015 will be here before you know it – why not make it your year to SHINE?
Totally possible, and you are worth it! It simply takes a bit of conscious creation. The key element is to make it fun and let it be easy!
While I do not believe in “New Year’s Resolutions,” I do believe the energy of the calendar and the season supports us in a fresh start, leaving behind whatever is not serving in order to realize positive results in all areas of our lives.
Here are my suggestions in a strategy to support you on your path and to make it your year to shine:
1) Start with a GRATITUDE list. Write it out – what are you grateful for? It is always important to WAKE UP and acknowledge that we are all very, very fortunate! Always lead with the positive energy, letting Spirit know how much you appreciate all that is provided.
2) Now make a list of the things that are simply NOT working in your life or that you would like to be different. This is both an inside and an outside job so make sure to address the emotional body and your belief system.
3) Take an honest look at your own choices. What actions are you taking that are contributing to NOT experiencing the outcomes you desire? What emotions are associated with these actions?
Remember, it all starts with taking 100% RESPONSIBILITY for everything in our lives.
4) Get clear in what it is you want to experience. Dream big, there are no limits here.
5) Identify one small, realistic step you can take in each area not working to make change and move forward in realizing your goal/dream. These need to be clear and tangible.
For example, instead of saying, “In 2015, I want to eat healthy.” You say, “In 2015 I will eat greens every day, having a salad with a meal or kale & spinach in my morning juice/smoothy.”
You want to make these attainable so you can actually follow thru, and increasing your confidence and your ability to follow through. This is one of the keys to ending self-sabotage behaviors. Attainable baby steps.
6) Review your gratitude list and identify how you will continue to nurture these aspects of your life. All flowers need water! And this will expand your happiness bubble and experience of joy and love!!
While we are making change, it is important to infuse all of our actions with love and enthusiasm. This is called raising your VIBRATION, and it is the key to manifesting all your deepest desires. This is how you SHINE.
