Misery loves company. Be careful of the people you let into your life and the energy you surround yourself with. If you live your life as a victim you will create these experiences. If you live from a place of empowerment – then your world will reflect miracles and success.

The first time I heard “Misery Loves Company” was in fifth grade. Each of us were assigned a state and we had to write a report on it. A boy in my class gave his report on Missouri and he kept saying “misery loves company,” and he might’ve said it in a different context but it definitely stuck with me, and I cannot believe how applicable it is in life.

Have you ever noticed how many people love to walk around with their stories of victimization and talk about how hard life is and how terrible things are?

Have you also noticed how people seem to just love that negativity and love to add to the negativity?

People love to talk about their misery and find reasons to be miserable. If you want to find reasons to be miserable then your brain will find reasons, if you want to find reasons to be happy and positive, your brain will find reasons to be happy and positive.

YOU can choose, and you create your reality.

Are you going to live your life through the lens of a victim or are you going to live your life from the truth of who you are, from source energy as a creator; strong, empowered, expansive, and limitless?

Are you going to surround yourself with positive, uplifting people and allow people to be where they are and live in their stories, but not allow yourself to be sucked in?

The option is your to choose.
