A few weeks ago I was at Starbucks and heard a woman ask for almond milk. Instantly my ears perked and I got excited.

“Almond Milk?” I gasped. Had they really taken the plunge? “Is it sweetened?”

“Nope. Unsweetened.”

My jaw dropped. Starbucks was finally offering a HEALTHY milk alternative that wasn’t drip feeding slow poisons into bodies and adding to the demise of the health of our country? AWESOME! Love these guys.

I was super excited and ordered a creamy and delicious beverage with almond milk to enjoy during my morning power session.

The following week I went back and about to order the same when something in me said, “wait a minute. Check out the ingredients and see for yourself.”

So I asked the lady to see the box, and low and behold, the second ingredient is SUGAR!!

WHAT? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD CALL IT UNSWEETENED AND STILL HAVE THE SECOND INGREDIENT BE SUGAR?

Well, I will tell you how… because the laws that govern this kinda thing make nice little exceptions and add small little details so that things like this are legal.

Have you read what “All Natural,” “Vegan” or even the “Non-GMO” specifications are?

I want to be clear that I am NOT anti-Starbucks. In fact, I love them! But I am PRO-education. And this responsibility lies with the individual.

Just because something sounds healthy does NOT mean that it is healthy or even REAL FOOD.

The key here again is education. Not only of what is going into your body – but the acceptance and knowingness that these things ARE going into your body!

It truly is the inevitable and a by-product of the world we live in. We can all do the best we can, but we can only do so much because many of the poisons and toxins entering our body are beyond our ability to see and know.

Do you breathe? Do you take a shower and drink water? Do you live in a hours with paint? Do you wash your clothes?

Just being alive is the biggest health risk by far. That is why we must do what we can to be proactive in our health — so we can actually have the energy and vitality to enjoy our life!!

This is one of the reasons it is SO important for us to systematically clean out the body — because these toxins and slow poisons get into our system and cause inflammation and congestion — the beginning of ALL Dis-Ease.

its like changing the oil in your car, cleaning your house, getting a car wash, etc. The body NEEDS regular, seasonal cleansing. Education yourself, be proactive, and stay committed.

Health is a product of an inner decision — the absolute devotion to your own self care and making positive choices for you.

It is NOT a product of external circumstances.

“I never thought I would do a cleanse because I already was eating fairly healthy. But after dealing with gut issues, I made the decision to try it and am so happy I did. I feel so clean and healthy and have so much energy! The amount of energy I had during this cleanse was limitless. And even after the cleanse, I have incorporated healthier eating habits. I felt better than I have in a long time doing the cleanse. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to kick start themselves into a better version of themselves. And Nykki is so amazing and so incredibly loving.”
