What Wayne did NOT say is, “you can be right or you can be kind, so you should fall into the trap of people pleasing and lose sight of your own goals and taking care of yourself.” Everything that Wayne teaches revolves around personal empowerment, self reliance, and living a life that’s true to you.

I work with so many women who get trapped in this vicious cycle of people pleasing, and often lose sight of even knowing what’s right for them. It’s so engrained in the female DNA to care for everyone else and put others first, and usually that results in putting their dreams, their goals, their self care, and even their self worth on the back burner.

As a result, the behavior becomes automatic and many can become unconscious of what they are doing, but deep within the resentment builds, their self esteem plumets, and their happiness falls to the wayside.

It also leads to health challenges because everything is energy, so the body will create patterns of energy that result in symptoms such as exhaustion, fatigue, brain fog, stubborn weight, and even more serious issues.

You’ve got to wake up to this type of behavior. There is nothing sexy or serving about being a martyr. And when you finally commit to putting yourself first, so you do what is right for you, prioritize your goals and your self care, you will see your world shift in a quantum way.
